my very first time with photoshop..

Today was our first lesson working with photoshop, i found it highly educational yet surprisingly fun. Micky, our teacher taught us the basics of photoshop some of which was, putting text, images, and different coloured backgrounds into photoshop so that we could manipulate them at our disposal. I used the magic wand tool to transope a picture of a woman named hannah into the background of the tower of london which is something i have never done before, also for the first time i have created a blog and have written my very first entry. In continuation with my practical work i began working on my magazine cover which i also found really fun, i took some time getting used to the settings but i soon got the hang of it and managed to make a successful start on my magazine cover page. by the end of the lesson we had a main cover image that featured my partner smiling in a kneeling position, we also had a banner that read 'Hot spot for young Ravers', a masthead that read 'Young Vibes' which was all backed on a black strip that we made from the shapes tool. Im really excited to develop my cover page and start my inside page. 2/10/08
